Lucky is a very sweet 5 yr old neutered male Yellow Lab who EGRR brought in from Korea at the request of one of our volunteers there because he had been abandoned by his owner at a boarding facility there and had no place to go. Lucky is good with adults and children and other dogs although he is also not interested in other dogs so we feel that he’d be happier as an only dog. He has a very good nose and comes from hunting stock in the UK (we actually have his papers). He’s very ball driven. We don’t know how he would be with a cat or small animals so think given his background it would be better to place him in a home without a cat or small critters. Like all rescue dogs, Lucky needs some training especially to learn to walk correctly on a leash. He has been in a foster home in Bellevue for about a month and had all of his vetting done. He was tested for Heartworm and other vector borne diseases plus Brucellosis and all were negative. We think Lucky would make a good hunting companion if you’re into that. He does like the water although probably has very little experience with it. Lucky is learning English but has no recall yet. To adopt Lucky, you will need a securely fenced yard and to be home at least part of the day. He will make a wonderful best friend especially if you’re willing to throw a tennis ball until your arm drops off!!
