New Adoption

Duri (pronounced Dorrie) is a very sweet 2 year old spayed female Black Lab mix. We’ve been told she is part Jindo which is a hunting dog that originated in Korea. She arrived from Korea along with a Golden and when the rescue group who was supposed to take her could not, EGRR stepped in and welcomed her to our group. Her foster home reports her to be a very sweet and special dog. She loves to play with the resident dog and would prefer to have a canine sibling. She weighs 61 pounds. She is crate trained but would not do well left in the crate for long periods of time and would probably work to get out of the crate. She’s housebroken and behaves very well inside. She has been examined by a Vet, tested negative for Heartworm and Brucellosis and tick borne diseases and is a healthy girl. She is up to date on her vaccinations. Although not interested in the water at first, she has learned to like it from hanging out with her sister. Like all rescue dogs, she needs training but is a quick learner and wants to please. She is a pretty active girl so would do best with a fenced yard, a canine playmate, an active family and someone home part of the day. Please email us at if you’d like to learn more about Duri.
