Surrender a Dog

Volunteering

There are many ways in which you can help our rescue efforts. The greatest need of any Rescue group is foster homes for without an adequate number of foster homes we would have to turn away some dogs. If you think you don't have the time or energy to take on a young Rescue Golden, consider fostering a senior as they are very easy to have in your home. They do take longer to place and could be with you for some time but we can eventually place a senior if we have a foster home for them. Click here, to go to our Forms page for a Foster Home Application.

Occasionally we need help transporting dogs from the shelter to their foster home or to and from vet appointments. Additionally, help is needed in doing home checks, phone calling, publicity (including manning our booth at public events) and fundraising. We would also love to publish a quarterly or semiannual newsletter but have no one with enough free time to take on this awesome task. Visit our Forms page for a Volunteer Application.

If you have a dog-related skill or job such as a trainer, groomer, dog sitter or run a kennel, we could use any time or energy that you're willing to donate to our cause. We can also use donations of crates, food, bedding, toys, leashes and collars. Last but by no means least; we have an on-going need for cash donations which help to cover our continuously increasing veterinary costs. Every year we take in several dogs requiring surgery which taxes our treasury.
