2010 Annual Membership Drive !!!

Hello to All Current Members of Evergreen Golden Retriever Rescue (EGRR),

Thank you so much for being members of EGRR in 2009. You are helping to promote responsible dog ownership and helping homeless Golden Retrievers. Thank you also to volunteers for transportation, foster care and a host of other needy activities. EGRR is an entirely volunteer staffed organization and this help is critical!

We would ask for your continuing support in 2010 - By renewing your annual individual memberships, at only $10 for each individual member !!! The 2010 membership application can be found by clicking here, in two different formats from which to choose. Please mail to the Renton P.O. Box in the application.

EGRR has spent about $22,000 in the first ten months of 2009, the vast majority of which was for veterinary care on approximately 70 rescued dogs. The total donations by adopters covered about three-quarters of this amount. Therefore, sustaining the very existence of EGRR depends on other sources of funding. As EGRR is a 501c3 charitable organization, additional donations by members are tax deductable and are very, very gratefully received!!

Although we are always in need of more volunteers, you can join EGRR without signing up to work. Your membership shows a commitment to Rescue of Golden Retrievers in our area and helps to offset our expenses. Annual individual membership is only $10.00 and you can choose from 2 types of memberships. A Full Membership is for the person who wants to participate on a regular basis in activities and decision making and will attend the annual meeting. A full member may hold office and can vote at meetings. A Supporting Membership is for those individuals who want to show their support for Rescue but do not plan on attending meetings or other events. A supporting member may not hold office or vote at meetings.

We are a 501c3 charitable service organization composed entirely of volunteers. What we can provide you for your membership is the knowledge that you are helping homeless Goldens in our community and helping to promote responsible dog ownership. You are now in our website www.egrr.net where information about adoption, relinquishing a dog, volunteer opportunities and other topics is available. This includes our Rescue newsletter, "The Golden Nuggets". There is also an interconnecting website link to the Evergreen Golden Retriever Club (EGRC) www.egrc.org where you can also stay abreast of Golden Retriever activities.
